Opt-In Policy PDF Print E-mail
We have created this policy so that our costumers know the allowed standards that iBizOnCall has for the mailing lists operated by it's costumers.

The only allowed standard at iBizOnCall is Confirmed Opt-In, we do not allow Opt-In.

This is because of the following reason:

The Opt-In list refers to a list where each user adds his/her name and enters his email address into the system. This can be achieved by filling out a form on a webpage, or through other method. Once the user has typed in his address and entered it in the system, that user will be signed up in that list and he will receive emails from the party that operates that mailing list. Opt-In is not a secure method, because users are able to add an unlimited amount of email addresses and, consequently, spam the recipients of the bulk-email.

The reason why we only allow Confirmed Opt-In, is because it's almost the same as with Opt-In, but instead of the emails being immediately sent out with no confirmation, the software sends out a confirmation message asking the user to confirm his addition to the list. Unless the message is replied by the user, he won't receive any mailings at all. Confirmed Opt-In greatly reduces the amount of unwanted emails sent by spammers, and that's why we do not allow any other standard than Confirmed Opt-In.

If it is found that any of our costumers are not complying with this policy, iBizOnCall reserves the right to take any precautions it deems necessary in order to protect it's best interests as a company.

We hope that after reading this document, you have a better understanding of why we have these Opt-In standards. Following this simple policy will ensure that our network and systems are always free of spam, which helps our costumers as well as the entire internet community.

If you have any questions about this, or any other of our policies, be sure to contact us by sending us an email, opening up a case in the panel, or giving us a call.

Thank you, we are at your service!
