Security Policy PDF Print E-mail
We created this security policy to help our costumers have a better understanding the iBizOnCall security measures . If you have any questions about this, or any other of our policies, don't hesitate to contact us via email or by giving us a call.

No internet-based business can properly function without security, therefore it is of primary importance that our clients understand the security policies applied at iBizOnCall.

Security on each of our costumer's servers should be updated as much as possible. It is the responsibility of each of our costumer's to perform this ongoing task. Since we do not have control over the operating systems or applications of our client's servers, we cannot take responsibility for them.

It is the responsibility of our costumers, or their dedicated server company's to build the servers with the most up to date operating systems, security upgrades and vendor-supplied patches.

Remember that every day there are new and different forms of attack and security problems that affect all kinds of computers. We are not responsible for maintaining the security of the systems operated by our costumer's, this is a responsibility that corresponds to them and sometimes is shared with their dedicated server provider. The only server that we are responsible for maintaining and keeping secure, is the iBizOnCall website and panel server.

If one of our costumer's servers is compromised, it is that costumer's (or the costumer's dedicated server provider's) to make a copy of any necessary data and let us know of the problem. We will assist the costumer in every way possible, that is whithin the scope of our support (please reffer to iBizOnCall's support policy).

iBizOnCall does not recommend Internet Relay Chat activity on our costumer's networks, since it is more apt to causing attacks than any other activity. If one of your computers is attacked, or one of your computer is used to attack other computers, we reserve the right to cancel your service if we find any risk of it affecting our systems. On this same note, if it is found the attacked computer to be running IRC services, we may require you to supply a security deposit to cover any costs to repair future network attacks. If the IRC activity is discontinued, we will refund this policy as long as no more network attacks are detected.

Please remember that the only systems we give maintenance to, are the iBizOnCall internal servers, and the iBizPanel server.

We hope you have a better understanding of the security policies here at iBizOnCall. If you have any doubts, questions or comments be sure to contact us via email, or by dialing our phone lines.

Thank you, and welcome to iBizOnCall!
